It was in 1958 that the French postal authorities issued a green and brown 15 + 5 F surcharge stamp picturing a 2 CV van, a great tribute by the authirities to these fine mechanical aids invaluable to an efficient mail delivery service. The French post office uses over 10,700 Citroen vans. The postal authorities in Switzerland, Belgium and Holland have also decided to motorize their postmen with 2 CV.

Les Postes franrçaises utiIisent plus de 10 700 fourgonnettes Citroen. Les Postes suisses, belges, hollandaises, elles aussi, ont decide de motoriser de nombreux facteurs avec des 2 CV.
