R4AD prices for accomodation and dining
We know everyone has waited anxiously to know more raid details – especially prices – and we are happy to be able to provide at least some already. Some of these are not final information, but close enough. There are some tiny details we need to finalise.
One of the main issues is fuel consumption, how much does it cost? The length of the raid is approximately 3000km. If your car consumes say 7L / 100km, the total price for fuel is around 340€.
Here some price details for hotels we will be staying at, along with some information about meals etc.
Joensuu: room for two persons 55€/night, breakfast included.
Haaparanta/Haparanda: price is 34-40€/per person depending on the type of the room, plus they charge 7 € for bedlinen per person.
At Hetta there are several types of room, and the prices vary somewhat being from 25 to 52€ per person per night. The price includes breakfast and morning- /evening sauna.
Honningsvåg, room for two costs 85€, including breakfast and bed linen.
Tornio: room for two costs 75€, including breakfast.
Bed linen is normally provided and included into the price, for Haaparanta we need t0 check things out.
The price for accommodation for the entire journey will be around 310€ or less per person.
In Finland during weekdays, lunch is served between 11:00-14:00, normally price is less than 10€ /per person, but can vary between 8 and12 euros. In Norway the price is normally twice as high.

R4AD majoitus- ja ruokailukustannukset
Oheisena jo hieman tarkennuksia tulevan raidin kustannuksiin, tätä tietoa on jo kovasti odoteltu. Hinnat tulevat tarkentumaan vielä sitä mukaa, kun ohjelma valmistuu ja saadaan kaikki palaset loksahtamaan kohdalleen.
Ensinnäkin, polttoainekustannukset: Ohjelman mukaisen reitin mukaan kilometrejä kertyy noin 3000. Jos auto kuluttaa keskimäärin 7L/100 km, polttoaineisiin kuluu noin 340e.
Majoitushinnat, jotka tiedossa tähän mennessä:

Joensuussa: 2 hengen huone 55€ per yö, sisältää aamiaisen.
Haaparannassa hinta huonetyypistä riippuen 30-40€ per henkilö. Vuodevaatteet ja pyyhkeet veloitetaan erikseen.
Hetassa vaihtoehtoja on tarjolla useampia: huonetyypistä riippuen majoitushinta yötä kohden on 25 – 52€ per henkilö. Hetassa aamiainen sisältyy hintaan samoin kuin päivä-/iltasauna.
Honningsvåg kahden hengen huone maksaa 85€, hinta sisältää aamiaisen ja vuodevaatteet.
Torniossa: 75€/ huone ja hinta sisältää aamiaisen. Huoneet kahden hengen huoneita.
Normaalisti vuodevaatteet kuuluvat majoituspakettiin, Haaparannassa liinavaatteista veloitetaan erikseen.
Majoittuminen per henki koko ajalta on näin ollen noin 310€ tai alle / henkilö.
Lounashinnat Suomen puolella maksavat 8-12 €. Yleisesti kuitenkin alle kymmenen euroa, illalliset hieman kalliimpia riippuen kovinkin paljon siitä, minkä tasoisessa ruokapaikassa asioi. Norjassa lounashinnan saa kertoa kahdella.
